1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

6:6-8 Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
